enterIn addition to an interesting collection, the Museum is also unique in that in one of its halls the interior decoration of a Tractir (Restaurant) at the end of the 19th century is reproduced. In this Tractir one can taste the best sorts of vodka that is currently produced in Russia, compare their qualities, and, what is also important, have a substantial meal with one's vodka, according to the national tradition.

The Museum's tasting hall «Tractir» (Restaurant) invites you to enjoy food prepared according to a Cook Book published in 1887. This cozy underground restaurant was designed to imitate restaurants of the 1800 - 1900 era.

Excellent choice of vodkas, as an aperitif to Russian Cuisine, is presented a la cart in «Tractir». Many of our guests prefer sturgeon and salmon caviar as the most authentic appetizers for vodka.

Tasting sessions are very popular among the visitors and they take place almost every day. Therefore booking in advance is preferable. To confirm the reservation you can contact the administrator by e-mail: or phone/fax +7 (499) 166-50-97
